Minefield in Delhi

By Patrick Kidd

I haven't seen any of the play from the Feroz Shah Kotla today, so shouldn't really comment on the ODI that was abandoned after 23 overs, but it seems a bit wussy to abandon a match simply because balls of similar lengths are rearing up or scooting along the ground seemingly at random.
Sure, it isn't pure cricket and perhaps an element of luck comes into it, but the game is loaded enough in batsmen's favour as it is. Why not enjoy the odd game where the bowlers get the breaks?
